Steven Holt is an experienced Contract and Commercial Specialist with over 22 years’ experience in the construction industry, bringing a strong background in quantity surveying and contract management. He has worked on multi‑million dollar projects across a diverse range of sectors, including public buildings, healthcare, education, mixed‑use developments, refurbishment and complex infrastructure.

He has extensive knowledge of major contract frameworks such as FIDIC, JCT, and bespoke QatarEnergy (formerly Qatar Petroleum) forms. He has particular expertise in variation management, claims preparation, extensions of time, disruption analysis and financial claims, as well as in supporting alternative dispute resolution and litigation processes.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying. He is a member of the Institution of Construction Claims Practitioners and has completed the Construction Claims Writing and Management course with the same institution. He also holds a Higher National Certificate in Construction Studies and is currently pursuing a Professional Diploma in Forensic Quantum Analysis.
