Michael has over 30 years of professional experience with an emphasis in later years in the contractual and commercial aspects of build ing and civil engineering projects. He has extensive experience in the UK, Middle East and Asia Pacific in pre and post-contract administration, commercial and contractual management, risk analysis of contract, final accounts, contractual claims and disputes management.

In 1993 Michael opened a claims consultancy office in Kuala Lumpur as Director (Asia-Pacific) where his team specialise in claims management, arbitration and litigation. He is a qualified Mediator under the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) training scheme and an Adjudicator in the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) panel and has specific experience in preparation of pleadings, expert witness role on matters of quantum, time and contract interpretation.

Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB), a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and a member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM).
