Chin has over 35 years of quantity surveying experience in Malaysia and the UAE. He has worked for both consultants and contractors during this period and gained extensive knowledge of cost planning, estimating, bill of quantities (BoQ) production Principles of Measurement International (POMI) and Standard Method of Measurement (SMM), procurement and tendering, post contract administration including drafting contractual correspondences, valuations, variations and claims management. The projects included low to high rise buildings within Malaysia and Abu Dhabi. Has recently been working on 60-storey three tower condominium project for the developer providing contract management.

He has a Degree in Quantity Surveying and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
