Matthew Schofield and David Wright, both Associate Directors of Quantum Global Solutions (QGS), recently delivered an in-house interactive presentation on Delay Methodologies to Qatar based QGS employees.

The presentation included an overview of the QGS interpretation of planning definitions, delay methodologies described by the SCL Protocol and how that sits with QGS’ understanding. This included which methodologies QGS recommends and how the delay methodologies are deployed. During the presentation, two interactive sessions were completed which provided an insight on how every individual reads and follows instructions differently which proved to be excellent examples of how one person’s interpretation differs from another.

Speaking following the presentation, Matthew Schofield stated, “QGS understands the importance of continuous and refresher training, making sure all employees have a great mix of skills. This evening’s presentation provided a chance for all staff to ask questions and be shown examples of how important it is that QGS are all aligned in the way delay methodologies are used and completed. QGS pride themselves on partnering with construction companies and we are continually looking at ways that provide clients great service with value for money and always do what we say we will do.”

David Wright added, “Understanding delay methodologies and providing the information that comes from them will benefit QGS and provide all our clients with strong Extension of Time claims going forward, by completing detailed claims ensures that our clients issues are captured clearly and efficiently.”
