Andrew Woodward, Quantum Global Solutions (QGS) Executive Director recently participated in a workshop held by the International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) – Abu Dhabi.

The presentation entitled, ‘How to get paid in the GCC’ included an overview of the common issues Contractors face and how these can be manages pre and post contract.

According to a recent report, the total value of construction contracts within the GCC is likely to be worth approximately $194 billion.  This continued level of expansion, up over 20% since 2013, offers unprecedented opportunities to construction companies throughout the GCC.  As one of the region’s leading management consultancies specialising in dispute avoidance QGS is proud to have been invited to attend the ICAK workshop.  Today’s workshop has given QGS the opportunity to share our experience and discuss the problems inherent in major construction projects during a period of rapid growth with ICAK members,” said Woodward following the event.
