On the 23rd of April Sean Vernon, QGS Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant presented “Design by the Backdoor – Contractor’s Design Responsibility under some Qatar Forms” to the AACE® International (formerly American Association of Cost Engineering) – Qatar Section.
The technical presentation looked at some Qatar construction contracts and explored the limits of the Contractor’s design responsibilities under these forms. The session was attended by over 30 industry professionals. After the event Sean Vernon noted “We are privileged to partner with AACE International and share our experience and look forward to collaborating closely together”.
AACE International is a non-profit association that has served the cost management community since 1956. With over 9,000 members world-wide across 100 countries, AACE International serves cost management professionals in a variety of disciplines and across all industries. The Qatar Section comes under Region seven which covers the Middle East and North African Regions.
