
Lucia Vernon – Regional Director and Forensic Planning Director
Regional Director and Forensic Planning Director, Lucia Vernon is an experienced, qualified Testifying Delay Expert leading teams conducting forensic delay analyses and claim preparation according to international standards based on the Society of Construction Law Protocol and AACEI Recommended Protocols.
She currently holds the position of Regional Director 7 Middle East for the AACE International and is actively involved with the association in presenting good practice for delay analysis around the world. Lucia has utilised these expert skills across multiple sectors including hotel development, stadiums, power station construction, renewable energy, water and wastewater management, infrastructure, petro-chemical development, oil and gas, nuclear power and building construction.
Lucia holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Economics and Building Industry Management, and an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration. She has completed the RICS recognised ‘Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE) accredited by Pearson Learning at Level 7 (Masters level) BTEC and is an accredited RICS Civil Commercial Mediator. She is a Member of AACEI, formerly the American Association of Cost Engineering (MAACEI), holds the Legal Experience Training APAEWE qualification, is a Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), and is a Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) member.
