During a recent presentation to over 60 member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), entitled ‘Effective Construction Management – An Early Warning’, Sean Vernon, Quantum Technical Manager discussed the difficult issues surrounding low profit margins and big risk.

The presentation, part of the Quantum lecture series, also explored the use of various construction management techniques and particularly identified what project teams can do to develop early warning systems to spot and deal with potential issues.

Quantum Technical Manager, Sean Vernon is an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Contract and Claims Manager from a building and civil engineering background. Sean has worked on projects ranging from small local authority refurbishment projects to a multi-million dollar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) nuclear power station.
