The effective contract administration and delivery of world-wide projects is of critical importance to the construction industry.  Andrew Woodward, Quantum Regional Director Qatar recently discussed this topic during a ‘Contract Management Clinic’ for MAN Enterprise employees at the Radisson Blu Martinez Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon.

The two-day workshop covered contract procedure and administration, time matters, extensions of time, programmes and delay.

Attended by over 40 MAN Enterprise employees the workshop enabled a forum for open dialogue on the contractual issues affecting project management in the region.

“Construction contractors and subcontractors continue to face many challenges with respect to their contractual obligations when extensions of time and programme delays occur.  Having worked in the region for a decade Quantum’s specialist teams are expert in conflict avoidance and dispute resolution, our Contract Management Clinic enabled us to share knowledge and also learn from the MAN Enterprise team about the specific issues they are facing,’’ said Andrew Woodward following the presentation.
