Doha, Qatar – 25 April 2019: Inspired by international ‘Bring your daughters and sons to work national day’, Quantum recently invited 20 of the Quantum family children to visit their parents office and learn about their work environment.

Speaking at the event Managing Director, Peter Murphy noted, ‘’Quantum was recently recognised as one of Qatar’s Top SME’s and as a company we appreciate that this achievement can be attributed to the commitment and professionalism of our employees, and the families who support them. Across our global offices we often host external family days for Quantum family members but we had never invited all our children to our office to see what their parents did day-by-day (when they should be playing with them)! International ‘Bring your daughters and sons to work day’ seemed the perfect occasion to do this.’’

Event organiser Rubie Tadeje, said, ‘’As part of the event we decided to put the children to work (just like their parents) and all the children were invited to be part of the ‘Junior Executive Leadership Team (JELT)’. They were all sent a Meeting Request, a formal Agenda, PowerPoint slides they had to complete and present to all the guests which included four questions about their parents including ‘What three words to describe your parent?’ and ‘If your parent had a superpower – what would it be?’. The responses created some embarrassed parents! The JELT were then requested to meet as a group and select the company’s 2019 Ramadan and Eid cards that will be sent to all our clients. It was an amazing event and one we will expand to our other global offices next year.’’

‘’Today was a great event for Quantum with laughter permeating the office for the duration of the event. We learned a lot more about our consultants (from their child’s perspective) and found that similar to Quantum’s own Executive Leadership Team that the Managing Director was often over-ruled in his decisions. We also noted that there are many future leaders in our midst – all under nine years old,’’ said Tom Sawers, Regional Director Qatar.
