Doha, Qatar – 3 September 2018: As part of Quantum Global Solutions’ commitment to continuous professional development in the construction industry, Associate Director, Andrew Fallon will make a presentation tonight to Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) members on the issue of ‘Notices, Time Bars and Contemporary Records’.

The RICS CPD presentation will discuss: what constitutes a notice and when are notices required; what is a time bar when do they become applicable; what is the consequence for the contractor, what constitutes a contemporary record and why contractors need contemporary records? Andrew Fallon has 20 years’ experience working on a broad range of construction projects in the Middle East, Ireland and Hong Kong. His experience working as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in the contracting industry prior to his consultancy role has provided him with valuable insight and understanding of the issues that arise in construction disputes and the means to identify potential solutions for their resolution. Andrew has a BSc (Surveying), Diploma in Construction Economics, MA, LLM Construction Law & Arbitration and is a Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), Member of Project Management Institute (PMP), Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland (MSCS).
