With a corporate focus on raising industry standards through knowledge sharing Ian Maund, Quantum Regional Director UAE recently took part in the two-day FIDIC Claims Workshop: FIDIC Claims – Managing, Defending and Making Claims under FIDIC Contracts organised by Cornerstone Seminars.
In addition to Ian’s presentations on ‘Critical Path Analysis’ and ‘Quantifying and analysing claims for payment’, attendees also took part in practical mock contract disputes which elicited lively debate, critical examinations of issues raised and the full engagement of the attendees.
Participants from Iraq, Kuwait, Thailand, UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Slovenia and India also learned useful insights into the new FIDIC 2017 suite of contract documents and the required changes to contract administration strategy and practices.
