As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, ‘Q-munity’, Quantum Global Solutions, Qatar’s leading construction support consultancy, has finalised the long-term educational sponsorship of two children from the Tamil Nadu region of India. The girls, Karthika and Subha (pictured), 3 ½ and 9 years old respectively will each receive school tuition, books, note-books and health supplements.

‘’At Quantum we share a passion for life-long learning and education starting with the youngest members of our society. When a member of our team brought to our attention the great educational initiatives undertaken among some of the most underprivileged communities in Tamil Nadu we immediately agreed to sponsor the children. Educational is the foundations of creating secure futures for our next generation, helping to develop skills including English language and computer skills classes to build the knowledge future generations need to gain employment or start their own businesses in the future. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the Isha Vidhya Foundation,’’ said Peter Murphy, Quantum Managing Director.

Quantum’s Q-munity CSR Programme, started in 2013 is aligned to the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Development Strategy. The programme aims to actively add long-term value within the community by interacting with local organisations and supporting health, sport, community and educational initiatives.
