Lucia Vernon – Regional Director

Lucia Vernon is an experienced qualified Forensic Planning Consultant leading teams carrying out forensic delay analyses and claim preparation. She is regularly involved in the preparation of expert reports for delay and is seeking to push her career to act as a mediator. She has also written technical papers published by the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACEI – formerly the American Association of Cost Engineering) where she currently holds the position of Communities Board Member with AACE International.

Lucia has utilised these expert skills across multiple sectors including hotel development, power station construction, water and wastewater management, infrastructure, petro-chemical development, nuclear power and building construction.

She has an MSc in Economics and Building Industry Management, an LLM Construction Law and Arbitration and a BSc in Civil Engineering. She is a Certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), an Accredited RICS Civil Commercial Mediator and achieved the RICS Legal Experience Training Award (APAEWE – Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence).

Lucia is also a member of the AACEI-Qatar (MAACEI), a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIARB) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
