Quantum Global Solutions (Quantum) is proud to announce the appointment of Duan Van Der Merwe as Forensic Planning Consultant. During his six years of experience Duan has worked on projects throughout the Gulf region across a range of sectors including construction, infrastructure and oil and gas.
Referencing Duan’s appointment Peter Murphy, Managing Director said, “We are delighted that Duan has chosen to develop his career further by joining Quantum. Having been raised in Qatar Duan has a unique insight into Qatar’s working practices and with his strong academic qualifications we are confident he will provide the highest level of service to our many clients in Qatar and overseas.”
Duan holds an MSc in Civil Engineering, BSc Civil Engineering (Hons) (Edinburgh, UK) and is currently studying for an MSc in Construction Project Management graduating later in 2017. He has recently been awarded Chartered membership with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and is the Chairperson for the NOVUS Group Qatar. He is also working towards his Engineer qualification under the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
