Quantum Global Solutions (QGS) are proud to announce the appointment of seven new consultants: Tony Allen, Ben Tipping, Fatina Hassan, Andrew Fallon, Jon Sanderson, Stephen French and Matthew Schofield. The consultants, who all joined QGS over the last four months, have a wide range of local and international experience:
Tony Allen, Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant is a self-motivated, results driven, resourceful and experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor and leader with extensive project management skills. Tony has proven his ability to develop, control and manage dedicated teams working to restricted budgets under fast-track project conditions on infrastructure, heavy civil, energy, oil and gas and building projects in the UK, Far East, Middle East, East Africa and North America.
Ben Tipping, Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant has over 12 years of commercial and contractual experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and has developed a broad range of technical and commercial skills. For the past nine years he has worked for a large regional civil engineering contractor. He is a strong team player but can work finding successful solutions to complex problems, delivering high-quality projects through an extensive knowledge of NEC/ICE/JCT/FIDIC and bespoke/framework contracts.
Fatina Hassan, Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant is a holder of a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Liverpool with 10 years working experience in the construction industry. She has worked as a quantity surveyor and contract administrator on various projects in Jordan, the Middle East and the Gulf and as a site project engineer on the Amman Rotana Hotel in Amman, Jordan. Fatina is trilingual speaking Arabic, English and Spanish and has an excellent knowledge of FIDIC Forms of Contract and AutoCAD.
Andrew Fallon, Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant has more than 16 years’ experience working on a broad range of construction projects in Middle East, Ireland and Hong Kong. With many years of experience as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in the contracting industry prior to his consultancy roles, Andrew has valuable insight and understanding of the issues that arise in construction disputes and the means to identify potential solutions for their resolution.
Jon Sanderson, Senior Contractual/Commercial Consultant has been working in the construction industry for more than 20 years. He started his career with a major construction company in UK and has a strong background in main contracting and development, and commercially managing schemes from inception through the planning process and all pre-contract activities through to successful delivery on site. Jon’s experience has included major high rise developments, hotels, rail and metro infrastructures, façade packages and complex MEP.
Stephen French, Contractual/Commercial Consultant is a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in infrastructure, building, civil, and refurbishment industry sectors. He has eleven years’ experience in Quantity Surveying and has worked throughout the UK and overseas with experience of multiple forms of contracts.
Matthew Schofield, Senior Forensic Planning Consultant is a versatile and successful consultant and manager with over two decades of experience in project and operation management, planning, delay analysis and risk management. Matthew has a wide knowledge in the use of computer-based planning and scheduling techniques, particularly Oracle Primavera P3, P4 and P6, Microsoft Project and Visio.
