
Wajdi Al Aker – Contractual/Commercial Consultant
Wajdi has over six years of progressive experience in the construction and oil and gas sectors, specialising in contract administration, claims preparation and dispute resolution. He has worked on major projects in Qatar, including infrastructure, real estate and large-scale commercial developments, where he consistently delivered results through meticulous risk analysis and compliance management.
He is highly skilled in managing FIDIC-based contracts, EPC agreements and preparing claims such as extensions of time, variations and cost impact analyses. Wajdi brings a collaborative approach, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and achieve strategic commercial objectives.
Wajdi holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice in Contract Management and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Construction Law and Arbitration. Wajdi is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is licensed by the Urban Planning and Development Authority (Mechanical UPDA).
