Sam is a highly experienced Chartered and Certified Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of international experience in the construction industry. He has held senior management roles in the UK, Malaysia and Australia and has a strong track record in construction claims and dispute resolution, cost and contract management, and project leadership. Sam is widely recognised for his ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects from inception to completion.

His expertise spans a wide range of sectors including rail, infrastructure, commercial, retail, residential, hotel and leisure. Sam has worked with independent professional quantity surveying firms, multi-disciplinary practices, main contractors and construction claim consultants. Notably, he recently served as lead assistant to the Party Appointed Quantum Expert in Malaysia supporting high-level dispute resolution and contractual claims.

Sam holds an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a Member of both the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS) and the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM) and is a Chartered and Certified Quantity Surveyor. He has also served as an APC Chairman, Assessor and Mentor for both RICS and AIQS.
