Raafat is an experienced and qualified professional specialising in forensic delay analysis and claims preparation according to international standards, including the Society of Construction Law (SCL) Protocol and AACE International Recommended Practice. With over nine years of experience in Qatar’s construction industry, Raafat has worked on significant infrastructure projects such as airbases, hospitals, schools, high-rise buildings, hotels, parks, treated sewage water lagoon projects, oil and gas pipelines, and metro projects.

He has a BSc in Civil Engineering, a diploma in Forensic Schedule Analysis and an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration. Raafat is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), UPDA, has a Certificate in Urban Planning and Development Authority, an Associate Member of the Association of Planning Engineers (AAPE), and also an active Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE).
