The inherent issues surrounding Qatar’s booming construction industry and the effects of project delays were recently discussed by Quantum Global Solutions (QGS) Executive Director, Terry Dawson at a recent meeting held by the Chartered Institute of Building as part of their CPD (Continuing Professional Development) event schedule.
The presentation was made in the presence of over 100 construction industry professionals including junior and senior representatives from client, contractor, and consultancies. The presentation included a review of the key principles that form the framework necessary to successfully implement a delay analysis and an introduction to the commonly used delay analysis methodologies based on critical path analysis.
Speaking following the event, Dawson stated, “QGS is strongly committed to sharing our knowledge and experience with the local community. We are proud to be invited to join the Chartered Institute of Builders members to discuss the issues currently affecting our industry and discuss them in an open forum“.
