Country Director Qatar and Forensic Planning Director, Lucia Vernon is an experienced consultant working as part of a team carrying out forensic delay analyses in several different countries. She is familiar with critical path analysis and the issuing of warning reports as well as Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACEI) methodology for forensic delay analysis.
She currently holds the position of President for the AACEI Qatar Section and is actively involved with the association in presenting good practice for delay analysis around Qatar. Lucia has utilised this expert skills across multiple sectors including hotel development, power station construction, water and wastewater management, infrastructure, petro-chemical development, nuclear power and building construction.
Lucia has a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Economics and Building Industry Management. She has recently completed the RICS recognised ‘Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE) accredited by Pearson Learning at a Level 7 (Masters level) BTEC. Lucia is a Member of the AACEI-Qatar, formerly the American Association of Cost Engineering (MAACEI) and has Legal Experience Training APAEWE.
