Senior Forensic Planning Consultant, Carolyn Elson has over 21 years of experience working in the construction industry in both contractor and consultancy roles in the UK and Middle East. Carolyn’ understanding and knowledge of project planning and management extends from inception to completion across a range of major international projects. Key responsibilities included overseeing and providing planning advice with regard to critical schedule milestones, studying and analysing the contractors programme and approval or rejection of the general, detailed and monthly programmes, comparison between planned and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
Carolyn’s hands-on site experience also qualify her to make provision of any relevant mitigation measures in the event of project slippage, make decisions based on contractor’s progress and mitigate delays which can ultimately lead to claims.
Carolyn has a BSc in Construction Management and an MSc in Construction Management. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and a Member of the Society of Construction Law (MSCL).
