Carol is an experienced, multi-skilled communications executive with a demonstrated history of working in the LNG, oil, construction and leisure industries as well as supporting SME’s and entrepreneurs over the past 30 years in the UK, Qatar, Asia and globally.
Carol’s energy experience has focused particularly on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry gained during her 15 years working at RasGas Company Limited (now Qatargas) where she held several senior public relations positions including Senior Public Affairs Advisor, Head of Media, Publications and Communications and External Communications Consultant. RasGas is an Exxon Mobil Joint Venture with Qatar Petroleum. Qatar has the largest non-associated gas reserves in the world and has led the world in the clean energy industry.
Her key experience includes researching, developing, managing and implementing public relations strategies, corporate brand development initiatives including internal and external communications. Carol was the editor and contributing writer of the RasGas Magazine and heavily engaged in media relations, advertising, crisis management (where she worked directly at CEO/Board level), event management, employee engagement and people development.
During her career, eight projects Carol worked on have received industry awards, she has worked on two Guinness World Records as well as acting as RasGas’ Project Manager on Qatar’s largest LNG celebration to recognise the State of Qatar’s achievement of reaching 77 million tonnes of LNG.
She has an MSc in Management, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (Chartered Marketer) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK (Accredited Practitioner Status).
