Gordon Tregaskis, Non-Executive Director provides global support on legal, contractual and commercial matters to Quantum’s global clients. Gordon is a qualified barrister, an accomplished and pragmatic commercial director and has a legal background with significant international dispute resolution experience gained in problem solving roles managing major infrastructure projects worldwide. Gordon has successfully managed and resolved major engineering and construction, energy, intellectual property and shipping disputes through a considered mix of negotiation, arbitration and mediation. Gordon’s specific areas of expertise are arbitration, adjudication and mediation, evaluative mediation, early neutral evaluation and mini trial, commercial direction of major infrastructure projects, claims preparation, analysis and presentation, litigation and case management, commercial management of construction projects, leadership of litigation support teams and project financing. He has also provided board level advice on many highly political water and power privatisation projects in MENA, Asia and South America, leading related negotiations on project financing, joint venture agreements, mergers and acquisitions, asset sale and purchase, private placements and Initial Public Offerings. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Law. He also holds a post graduate diploma in International Arbitration (DipICArb), he was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1980 and is a Chartered Arbitrator, CEDR Solve Mediator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a CIPAA Accredited Adjudicator (Malaysia).
