As part of its ‘Q-munity’ Corporate Social Responsibility (Q-CSR) programme in partnership with PAWS Rescue Centre, Quantum recently arranged an Italian bespoke cooking class, ‘PAWS for Pasta’ at the Ritz Carlton Doha.
The class was attended by fifteen animal lovers from across Doha all keen to take part in the interactive classes led by Porcini Restaurant chef Moreno Gianfranco Miotto. The class included planning and preparation of a great Italian menu, focus on basic dining, cooking techniques, plating presentation and restaurant chef tips. The class was followed by lunch prepared during the class.
The money raised at the event will be used to provide supplies for PAWS animal shelter, a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Qatar’s stray cats and dogs.
Quantum’s Q-munity CSR programme, started in 2013 and is aligned to the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Development Strategy 2011–16. The programme aims to actively add long-term value within the community by interacting with local organisations and supporting health, sport, community and educational initiatives.
