To further consolidate their ongoing partnership Quantum Global Solutions (Quantum) and Maktaba Children’s Library recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding as Premier Partner reflecting Quantum’s long-term commitment to support of Maktaba.

The MoU was signed by Peter Murphy, Quantum Managing Director and Sarah Champa Al Dafa, Founder of Maktaba Children’s Library

Speaking at the MoU signing, Peter Murphy reiterated Quantum’s ongoing support for Maktaba, “Quantum is delighted to have formalised our partnership as a Premier Partner support Maktaba Children’s Library. Over the past year as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, ‘Q’munity’ and our employee volunteering initiative ‘Donate a Day’ we have worked with Maktaba on several hand-on projects and we look forward to continuing to work together to enhance Maktaba’s reputation within the community.” Continuing, he said, “Led by our Associate Director, Jon Sanderson, we have formed a Maktaba CSR committee who meet with Sarah on a monthly basis to check how we can help with the libraries ongoing projects. It’s a great partnership and we’re proud to be part of Maktaba’.”

Sarah Champa Al Dafa also noted, “We are delighted to be a part of the Quantum Q’munity CSR Programme! Since we initiated our cooperation through the “Donate a Day’’ programme our partnership has established strong roots and we look forward to continuing to grow Maktaba together.”

Quantum and Maktaba continue to develop the Hadiqati garden planted as part of the Quantum family Donate a Day last October, donate books through employee donations, undertake reading sessions as part of the World Book Day celebrations and using their industry contacts help facilitate ongoing maintenance at the library.
