Following a year in the role as Director of Marketing and Publicity, Quantum is delighted to announce that Associate Director, Lucia Vernon has been appointed President Elect to the AACEI-Qatar Board of Directors (formerly the American Association of Cost Engineering).
In her role as President Elect Lucia will act for the President whenever the President is unable to perform his or her duties and will be responsible for the general arrangements of the AACEI Annual Meeting.
In congratulating Lucia on her new role, Peter Murphy, Quantum Managing Director said, ‘’We are extremely proud of Lucia’s promoting within the AACEI-Qatar Board of Directors to the role of President Elect. Through industry lectures and published articles promoting the principles of the AACEI we believe she is the perfect person to hold this important role to continue to further awareness on the work of the association among Qatar’s contractors and project owners.’’
AACE International is a non-profit association that has served the cost management community since 1956. With over 9,000 members world-wide across 100 countries, AACE International serves cost management professionals in a variety of disciplines and across all industries. The Qatar Section of the AACE has over 200 members.
